ENEOS Materials Trading Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) considers the protection for personal information (hereinafter inclusive of specific personal information) under the advanced information-telecommunication society to be of the utmost importance, and will make efforts to protect personal information based on the following policy.

The Company will acquire personal information by legitimate and fair means. The Company may transfer personal information to Japan. In such case, the Company will obtain the subject’s consent.

5.Management of personal information

  1. The Company will make efforts to treat personal information appropriately by taking the following measures.
    • Maintaining organizational measures for appropriate management of personal information
    • Keeping every officer/employee informed about this policy and related regulations and ensuring the implementation of this policy
    • Taking necessary and appropriate measures for security against illegal access and/or computer viruses in order to prevent personal information from any damage, loss, destruction, falsification and divulgation.
  2. When the Company entrust a certain subcontractor to handle personal information, the Company will strictly control and supervise such subcontractor.

6.Requests for Disclosure, Correcting, Disuse and Erasure

When a data subject requests the Company to disclose, correct, disuse or erase its personal information retained by the Company, the Company will appropriately respond to such requests in accordance with applicable laws/regulations and procedures set by the Company.

7.Continuous Improvement for the Protection of Personal Information

The Company will observe the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in the Administrative Procedure and guidelines released by Japanese government related to the protection of personal information, and will continually work to improve this policy and the protection of personal information. In addition, the details of the measures for securing specific personal information is set forth in the internal regulation “Rules for handling specific personal information”
